To meet its current needs for new product development activities, Anvik Corporation has immediate openings for energetic candidates to fill two part-time positions described below. If your skills and goals meet either of the following opportunities, you are invited to send in your resume. The resume should contain an Objectives statement that highlights the primary areas at Anvik in which you would like to make a contribution, as well as the major skills that you would add to the Anvik team. Optical Engineer
The Optical Engineer will have a variety of exciting responsibilities in a multi-disciplinary atmosphere and will participate in Anvik's R & D programs. His/her primary responsibilities will include: designing and analyzing illumination and imaging systems, and integrating and testing them in in a variety of optical systems. The OE will have the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art scientific equipment and software, including: microlithography systems, high-power excimer lasers, precision interferometers, semiconductor processing equipment, high-precision mechanical assemblies and scanning stages, optical detection and metrology hardware, optical assembly tools, and optical design and modeling software. The candidate will also have the opportunity to participate in developing new technologies and applications, expanding the Company's large patent portfolio.
The candidate must have an M.S. or B.S. degree in optics, physics, or EE. Experience with optical design software is desirable but not required.
Position Available Immediately
Process Engineer
The candidate should have experience and training in lithographic photoresist processing. He/she will participate in ongoing research and development efforts, testing new processes for use with Anvik's optical systems. Additionally, the Process Engineer will participate in system integration and development, and will be responsible for evaluating the imaging performance of optical systems as well as optimizing materials process parameters. In these roles, he/she will become familiar with all aspects -- mechanical, optical, materials processing, etc. -- pertaining to the functioning of Anvik's optical systems, and will therefore, have the opportunity to undertake additional responsibilities after gaining an appropriate level of expertise. The candidate must have an M.S. or B.S. degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, or electrical engineering.
